Total bummer that this didn’t hold a candle to the first one. Not much emotion or WOW factor here. Only watched half of it and forogot about it. I had big hopes on this.

In a world filled with too much “in your face” music and imagery, the director manages to beautifully capture the excitement and action of Baja without the need to interject rap or speed metal in an attempt to “capture” young viewers. This is a movie the entire family can enjoy and makes you want to get to Baja to see the event in person. Two thumbs WAY up.

With extraordinary photography, Dana opens the world of excitement, adventure, & extreme danger for the viewer. I found myself holding my breath, cheering, choking up, and laughing. It’s one of those movies that makes you laugh, makes you cry, rips you out of your seat, then drops you exhausted & happy for the time spent.

One star lost only because it’s not quite as exciting and energizing as the 1st DTG. This one has more of a car focus where the 1st had more of a dirt bike focus. Still a great watch!

As an off-road enthusiast, and Dirt bike rider, I’ve always enjoyed getting off the beaten path. Nearly 10 years ago I found Dana’s first production of Dust to Glory. I purchased it, and have watched it many, many times. I thoroughly enjoyed the pit scenes, as well as the overall story of Mouse McCoy as he battled the Baja 1000. This second episode of Dust 2 Glory, in my humble opinion, goes even deeper into the real world aspect of Baja and the people there who support this fantastic race. Indeed, Baja is a family, no matter what side of the border you are on, and racing is an addiction that blends the families. This Dust 2 Glory movie beautifully blends the backstory of the Baja racers with the land of Baja and their desires to just finish the race. The monumental courage it takes to race blindly into the dust storm is often rewarded with the Baja 1000 medal at the end. As Dana has shown in this movie, sometimes you can beat the Baja, other times you lose your life to Baja. Dana has shown in this video that it is the race itself that brings life to our lives.

It was late arriving, may have had something to do with our postal strike.

I don’t think being 2nd best to On Any Sunday is hardly a criticism. I’ve been to Baja on my Honda several times and this movie is the best ever to capture the feel and action of the race, the people, and the area.
It’s my 3rd copy since loaning the previous copies to friends seems to have made it their favorite motorcycle movie.

This was a good movie, but not near as good as the first. The original sparked a movement in offroad racing. For many it was the first time seeing the mystique and intrigue that racing Baja is. The stories, the reverence, the beauty, it’s what made the first film so great. This was just an update, a film that continued telling the story but with less depth. It was produced by SCORE and Monster Energy, so maybe they had some influence that got in the way of Dana Brown’s creativity, not sure, but I hope they try again and develop deeper connections with the “characters” in a third installment.
